Biliary apparatus includes the bile ducts from the liver connecting to the second part of the intestine. The gallbladder is a small pouch which acts as a storage organ for the bile. The bile duct transports bile, which helps in the breakdown of lipids in our diet so that they can be absorbed by the body.
